Impact of Coffee in Athletic Performance

For many of us, we use coffee to boost our day, in the morning, before work, and even before a workout. Athletes also take coffee to have the mental boosts before any type of sports games. The question arises: Is it advisable for athletes to have a caffeine boost before their games?

The very purpose of this post is to determine if caffeine is advisable to include in an athletes diet

Sportsmen have varied responses to caffeine; while others find caffeine very stimulating, a few may find caffeine resulting to jitters and even upset stomach. For anyone consuming coffee, it takes trial and error of how much coffee you need each day to boost your daily activity. Nonetheless. it had always served fairly true that too much of anything is not good. Therefor moderate amounts of coffee intake are always advisable even for sportsmen engaged in motorsports.

Hydrating with Caffeine

Coffee has a dehydrating effect and it is not in anyway a good alternative to quench thirst – This statement has false claims. The truth is moderate coffee intake or other beverages with a certain amount of caffeine can replenish the body’s fluid needs especially if you are consuming coffee as part of your morning routine.

80% of the people across the globe are coffee drinkers. The average consumption of coffee is estimated at 200mg per day. Most athletes know the effects of caffeine and thus add it to their daily diet to enhance alertness and boost performance.

Researchers conducted a study of the negative effects of coffee to people who consume coffee on a daily basis at about 100mg per day. Results show that there are no serious effects on health when it comes to urine volume.

Caffeine and Athletic Performance

Caffeine is known to provide energy boosting benefits which help athletes train for longer periods of time. It invigorates the system and helps in better concentration and clearer thinking.

Each person has varied responses towards caffeine. With this said, it must not be assumed that anyone who adds caffeine into their diet will have the same result as the other. For others, caffeine can result in nausea, stomach problems, or caffeine jitters which add up to an already nervous individual.

Why Men are Training for Motorsports?

In the sportsworld, men are testing the best mass gainer by DBMG in their effort to become bigger and better. Why all these? For women to take notice? I don’t think so. Men equally want to feel good about themselves. Behind the muscles, men have several reasons. Health is the top reason men pump up their muscles. They want to look better, and to have that self confidence to face the world.

For men involved in motor sports, they will need to be lean and slim and not necessarily pumped up. But they take the necessary steps to be at their best, in both physical and mental health. Training for motor sports needs dedication as the athlete will have to be physically and mentally prepared to cope up with the requirements and the demands of the sports.

What are the three reasons for motorsport training?

1. To have a good posture. Having the right posture is utmost important for men into motorsports. One has to make sure the athlete has a good posture, no weak points or tight points. This makes sure that the athlete’s body has the proper body posture for what the sports has to offer.

2. To have a good endurance level. Any men involved in motorsports want to endure the race with flying colors. At the same time, they wouldn’t want to put their health at risk. So part of their training is to make sure their body is able to endure the pressure and the excitement of the sports.

3. Train to be at level with their racing car or motorbike. The athlete would like to win the game. And in training, they are becoming fit and at par with their racing car. Every training athlete shouldn’t train for both racing devices simultaneously. They have to train and concentrate only for one racing device so as the focus is geared in one direction.
