US GPE have successfully completed crash testing of their nose cone section in Cranfield, England last week.
The nose performs well, breaking up as it should – but the guys from the composite department in the Charlotte, NC, base, watching this video for the first time, don’t know whether to laugh or cry…
The new team, whose HQ is located in Charlotte, North Carolina and have a European testing base at the fabulous new MotorLand Aragon race track in Spain is headed by Peter Windsor and Ken Anderson. As yet, they haven't revealed who will be driving for them, and the car is still inside a computer, but they are confident that they will build it in good tiome for the first race and know only too well how difficult the challenge of F1 will be in 2010 with so many top drivers and teams fighting for the title.
