Circuit d'Albi

In 1928 the first motorsport association began to take shape and from 1930 was called the M.C.C.A. (Moto Camping Club Albigeois).
This Association gave to the people of Albi their first thrill of automotive sport with the organisation of the hill climb race of Mascrabière in 1930. The first Grand Prix Automobile race took place on the Circuit des Planques in 1932 and the sport was up and running.
The association became the C.G.C.A. (Comité de Gestion du Circuit d'Albi) in 1985 and their passion and determination fueled the development of the Circuit of Albi. In its 80th anniversary year, the Circuit is preparing for a series of major improvements that will make it one of the best in France by 2010.
