TT Circuit Assen was built in 1955 and is located in Assen, the Netherlands. The circuit hosts the Dutch TT race, which is considered the pinnacle of motorcycling by fans. The circuit has a capacity of 100,000 spectators, with 60,000 sitting down. It is also a venue for concerts - heavy metal legends Iron Maiden performed at the circuit in August 2008, making them the first band to hold a concert at the venue.
