The West Sussex-based Goodwood Motor Circuit opened its gates to the public on September 1948 to host the UK’s first post-War motor race meeting at a permanent venue. The circuit is very active these days and nestles in the beautiful grounds around Goodwood House where there is a short-circuit track and a hill track. Goodwood is most famous for its annual Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival events.
