Parcmotor Castelloli

Crta. Nacional IIa Km. 560
08719 Castellolí
Spain

Built on a 27 acre site, the circuit was opened on the 7th March 2009. The configuration is an unusual reversible figure of 8 design at an altitude of nearly 4200 feet, approved by the Federation International Motorcycle and Motorsports. There are steep ascents and descents and a bridge that gives it a unique personality. The track is designed for motorcycling and driving activities and to maximize the skills of the riders and drivers. The construction process has enjoyed the support and advice from some famous Catalan riders such as Alex Crivillé, Carlos Checa and Toni Elias. The project includes the construction of pit garages, toilets and showers, offices, press room, gardens and recreation, in addition to local restaurants and other services.

Parcmotor Castelloli has a smaller circuit that caters for Supermoto & Karting.  DC Racing has launched this project that has enjoyed the support of the triple world champion Dani Pedrosa and that becomes a mirror of a motorcycle tour of the World. Its modern and innovative design allows you to enter many variations and modifications to its layout, which is also reversible. There are all kinds of curves, changes in altitude, slope and gradients reaching 9%. The track can be extended to 1310 meters with a width of eight metres, to 14m on the straight.

A message from the Circuit President Angel Viladoms, also Catalan Motorcycling Federation President & President Catalan Foundation for Motor Sport.

"After 12 years as president of the Catalan MotoGP it was clear that I wanted to do something more, something different for motorbikes. One of the major goals I have devoted efforts towards in the recent years of my life has been to fight for our own sports facility. The intention was to build a facility for both cars and bikes - anything with an engine really - where drivers and riders can practice various specialties. It was a very big project and needed to invest much time. The location for the circuit we found is very good strategically and geographically.

Castellolí was born here in my dream. I went to visit other circuits and joined forces with the current president of the Spanish Federation, Joan Moreta. The process has been long and tortuous, with some disbelief and many obstacles. But I had the executive boards of the federation, the Motoclub, professional and amateur drivers, in which I have renewed their confidence and have allowed me to remain ahead of the Catalan MotoGP to continue this dream.

Parcmotor Castellolí only be understood from the passion of people who we believed that this could be realized. We feel privileged by many champions and pilots we have in our home land. I know where the secret of the success of our motorcyclists lies, and it is in the social fabric that makes up the clubs with their volunteers, families and fans every Sunday who stay to watch the last races, and that their enthusiasm and their contribution allows us to attract highly competitive championships. Born of the tenacity and passion for motor sport, Parcmotor Castellolí is already a reality."
