The St Petersburg circuit is a temporary road course created on the streets of St Petersburg in Florida. Racing on the streets has happened here on and off since 1985, in various locations. The current course is owned and operated by the Andretti Green Promotions, and since 2007 includes a round of the ALMS as well as an Indycar race on the same weekend. During the 2008 race Andretti Green Promotionsannounced that they had signed a contract extension with the City of St. Petersburg through 2013.
