The first race was held at Lime Rock on April 20, 1957. It's owned by Skip Barber of the Barber Racing School, and has hosted all kinds of American Road Racing from SCCA, Trans Am, NASCAR Busch, Grand Am, IMSA and more recently the American Le Mans Series. Being the home of the Barber Racing School, there are plenty of opportunities to get on the track, while the circuit also holds other interesting events such as the Litchfield Jazz Festival.
