In 2006, Bucarest Ring SRL signed a contract with the City of Bucharest to hold a City Challenge race here until 2015. The event, around the city streets of Romania's capital city, Bucarest, ran successfully in 2007 and 2008 for FIA GT and F3. However, the City has not allowed the race organiser to run the race in 2009, and the organisers are now seeking damages from the city for breach of contract. One for the history books?
