Automotodrom Brno

Automotodrom Brno
P.O.Box 1
641 00 Brno
Czech Republic

The racing circuit was built between 1985-1987, and meets all the current safety and technical standards. This circuit replaced the original city circuit dating back to 1930s. Brno has its exclusive place in the calendars of both motorcycle and automobile world championships. The most important event being held in Brno every year is the race of the road racing world championship Grand Prix of the Czech Republic. In 1999, 2004 and 2007 the company was awarded for the best organized GP with IRTA Trophy (International Road Racing Teams Association) and constantly takes front positions in its ranking. Automotodrom Brno-Masaryk circuit has more than seventy years of history, and offers to Czech Republic an important position in the world of motorsports. In 1965 the name of Masark circuit was first written in the road racing world championship calendar and from then on it has stayed on it, mainly thanks to the high quality and professionalism of the race organizers. Popularity of the world championship races is still rising and thanks to the live TV coverage and footage the wonderful sporting battles can be seen by spectators all around the globe. The magic atmosphere attracts not only the spectators but also the promoters of international motorcycle and automobile club events, such as FIA GT Racing which also visits Brno.
