Mondello Park is the only international motorsport venue in Ireland and was opened in 1968. It is located in Caragh, County Kildare just off the R409 regional road, and is about 40km from Dublin. The circuit is owned by Martin Birrane, who also owns Lola Cars, and is home to the Irish round of the British Superbike Championship, Pickup Truck Racing and international GT and rallycross events. Irish Championship Car, Kart and Motorcycle races also take place, as well as car and motorcycle track days where any road-legal vehicles may be driven by the public. The circuit used to host an Irish round of the British Touring Car Championship and the British Formula Three Championship.
The main circuit at the facility is the 3,035 metre International Circuit, which has received race approval from the FIA. The circuit is extremely twisty to fit this length into a small site. Shorter variations of the track are used for the circuit's Motor Racing School.
A museum containing a number of rally and track cars from the past 30 or so years is also on-site.
Mondello Park is situated in Co. Kildare 5 miles from Naas and 25 miles from Dublin. The circuit is ideally located with easy access from the M7 Motorway.
From Dublin and the M5O
Take the N7 towards the South. Leave the Naas by-pass (M7) at junction 10 (signposted for Newbridge) and turn right at the top of the slip road. At the roundabout take the first exit (signposted for Mondello Park/Rathangan). Once past the roundabout, take the next right turn and then the next left. Follow the road through a narrow bridge and the village of Caragh. Mondello Park is 1 mile past the village on the left.
From the South
Leave the M7 Motorway at junction 10 (signposted for Naas) and turn left at the top of the slip road. At the roundabout take the first exit (signposted for Mondello Park/Rathangan). From the West
Leave the M4 at the junction for Maynooth, at the top of the slip road turn right, follow the signposts for Clane. In Clane village take the right turn signposted for Prosperous. Turn left at the Naas oil petrol station in Prosperous. Go left at the first crossroads, Mondello Park is two miles on the right.
